At the entrance to a small private clearing, the Moulin is part of a beautiful ensemble of the very Perigordian style. It is an old flour mill, which was then a mill for the manufacture of ice until 1979.

Ideal for a family of 6, with 3 bedrooms and large and comfortable living spaces, Le Moulin is a stone Perigordian cottage, completely restored with care to keep all its charm of yesteryear. Stones and exposed beams, in a large living room with fireplace, come and sit on the sofas to read or spend beautiful evenings, tasting gourmet products from Périgord prepared in the fully equipped open kitchen. This family home is entirely on one level, it is equipped with everything you need for your stay in the Dordogne.
Two double bedrooms are equipped with Queen Size beds, one bedroom is installed with twin beds, for children for example. There is a shower room and a bathroom, so that everyone has enough space to wash. The bedrooms are elegant and well appointed, you will feel right at home with all the necessary storage.
The exteriors are particularly beautiful, designed for the enjoyment of holidaymakers looking for peace and privacy. The sunny outdoor terrace has a BBQ. It is at the swimming pool (common to the two sets of houses) that you will taste the joys of the aquatic element, by taking a few breaststrokes or lounging on one of the sunbeds. Right next door, children play in the park and play games for them, or play table tennis. Take a walk in the large park all around the Gîte Le Moulin. Follow the course of the water, to the rhythm of the locks and waterfalls and to the small lake where it is possible to try your hand at amateur fishing with the few fish naturally present.
For lovers of heritage and visits to tourist sites, Proissans is ideally located! In just a few minutes, you reach the very beautiful medieval city of Sarlat, you discover its generous markets and its residences, mansions and mansions. The Vézère Valley, also known as the Valley of Man due to its exceptional concentration of cultural and heritage sites around prehistory, is a few minutes away. The Dordogne Valley too, with its beautiful villages like La Roque-Gageac or Domme, its medieval castles like Castlenaud-la-Chapelle, the Château des Milandes, the Château de Beynac… A holiday between relaxation and discovery awaits you in the Dordogne!
